Glow Your Own Way (1)

How can we help your?

Love the pretty flush you get after a brisk walk or a bellyt laugh? Now you can get that gorgeous glow even on the drabbest days. Here’s a quick tutorial for four different fresh, lit-up looks.

the just-went-for-a-run glow

for a vibrant, outdoorsy flush—no activity required—put on a palette of pinks, says New York City makeup artist Fulvia Farolfi. After applying foundation that has a lustrous (not matte) finish, smooth a glistening pink liquid highlighter on eyelids, forehead, nose, cheek-bones and chin—the luminescence will instantly brighten you face. Next, dust lids, with a shimmery apricot eye shadow, glide some berry blush across cheeks and slick on a matching berry lip stain.

the chic hint-of-glint glow

if your skin is on the pale side, try a Midas touch. Start with matte foundation (shine-free skin helps golden-lights show up better). Then brush a pale gold powder on eyelids, and rev up the sparkle quotient within a layer of glimmer golden eye-shadow. For cheek, go with a pink-gold blush, then sweep a deep gold powder along the tops of cheekbones. Now color lips with a rich rosy tone that shimmers but doesn’t shine—a little gilt definitely goes a long way
